Anjuan Simmons is a technologist with a successful track record of delivering technology solutions from the user interface to the database. Carl Franklin is Executive Vice President of App vNext, a software development firm focused on the latest methodologies and technologies. Carl is a 20+ year veteran of the software industry, co-host and founder of .NET Rocks!, the first and most widely listened to podcast for .NET developers, a Microsoft MVP for Kinect for Windows, and Senior Executive of Pwop Studios, a full-service audio and video production/post production studio located in Southeastern Connecticut.

Dr. Aneika L. Simmons teaches courses about leadership, organization behavior, and human resources at Sam Houston State University. She completed her doctorate degree in Organizational Behavior and Human Resources at Texas A&M University. Prior to pursuing her PhD, Dr. Simmons worked for Accenture and Cap Gemini Ernst and Young as an information technology consultant. She also has a Masters degree in Organizational Communication from the University of Houston.

Hannes is a developer, a coach and a father of 3.

Laura Bell Main is recognized as a global leader in developing secure software. As the CEO of SafeStack, a leading secure development education platform, she helps software development leaders worldwide engage their entire team in cyber security. She is the co-author of "Agile Application Security" (O’Reilly Media) and "Security for Everyone" (Holloway). 

Her work has been featured in many international publications, including WIRED and MIT Tech Review. She has presented at BlackHat USA, and RenderATL, as well as leading international software development and cyber security conferences.

Lauren Hayward Schaefer is a developer advocate at Grammarly. She began her career as a software engineer for IBM, where she held various roles, including full-stack developer, test automation specialist, social media lead, and growth hacking engineer. She went on to be a developer advocate at SugarCRM and MongoDB. She is a keynote speaker who is skilled in taking hard-to-understand topics and making them seem simple. Lauren holds a BS and MS in Computer Science from North Carolina State University and is the co-inventor of fourteen issued United States patents.

Mark Seemann helps programmers make code easier to maintain. His professional interests include functional programming, object–oriented development, software architecture, as well as software development in general. Apart from writing books about Code That Fits in Your Head and Dependency Injection he has also created several Pluralsight courses, Clean Coders videos, and written numerous articles and blog posts about programming.

Originally poised to become a rock star or (failing that) graphic novelist (in the European tradition) he one day found himself with insufficient talent for either, a master’s degree in Economics, and a desire for working with computers. He has been doing the latter intermittently since 1995. When not working with software or spending time with his family, Mark enjoys reading, listening to and playing music, as well as preparing or consuming gourmet food and wine.

Martin is a front-end geek, data architect, and software engineer with multi-year experience helping companies around the world. He enjoys solving problems by coding in creative ways and actively participates in multiple open-source projects.
